These terms apply when you use Luminara or place an order with Luminara. By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund & Returns Policy.
Our products
Luminara products are made to order and personalized to the design you create — the star field is computed for the place and date you choose and printed on acrylic. Colors and finish may vary slightly from on-screen previews due to materials, lighting, and your display.
Pricing & payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout, and shipping is shown before you pay. We may update prices at any time, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
Orders & acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we successfully charge your payment method and begin production. We may decline or cancel an order — for example in the case of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or content we can’t produce — and if we do, we’ll refund any amount charged.
Your content
You keep ownership of any text, names, dates, or images you provide. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to produce, ship, and support your order.
You confirm that you have the right to use what you submit and that it isn’t unlawful, infringing, or offensive. We may decline to produce content that violates these terms or the rights of others.
Astronomical accuracy
Star positions are calculated from published astronomical catalogs for the date, time, and location you select. We take accuracy seriously, but our pieces are decorative keepsakes and are not intended for scientific or navigational use.
Intellectual property
The Luminara name, site design, text, and graphics are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission, except for the personalized product you purchase.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
